OT‑75PG is a high-efficiency anionic surfactant with the chemical name Sodium Diisooctyl Sulfosuccinate (CAS No.: 577‑11‑7). It features extremely fast interfacial migration, providing outstanding wetting, emulsifying and dispersing properties. With low surface tension and excellent calcium tolerance, OT‑75PG is widely used in emulsion polymerization, coatings, inks, textiles, adhesives and cleaning formulations to improve substrate wetting, adhesion, gloss and color fineness.
Typical Properties
- Active content: 70–75%
- Specific gravity (25℃): 1.09
- CMC: 0.10–0.15%
- Calcium tolerance (CaCO₃ @0.5%): 540 ppm
- Surface tension at CMC: 32 mN/m
- Solvent system: Propylene glycol + water
- Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid
Key Applications
- Polymer industry: Emulsion & suspension polymerization; emulsions for coatings, textiles and adhesives; dispersant for hydrophobic resins.
- Non‑polymer industry: Wetting and leveling agent for inks, varnishes, coatings and cleaning products; supports high‑speed printing with rapid wetting.
Usage & Dosage
- As post‑polymerization additive: 0.1–0.3% (based on total weight)
- As wetting & dispersing agent: 0.5–5%
- Recommended to add before dispersion; optimize dosage by testing.
Handling & Storage
- Keep containers tightly sealed to avoid gelation caused by solvent evaporation.
- If gelation occurs, add 1–2% ethanol and roll until dissolved.
- Stir well after freeze‑thaw cycles before use.
- Store in cool, dry, ventilated area; keep away from heat sources.
Packaging
